Overview
An established industrial manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive new business development and expand relationships with key accounts. This role is responsible for identifying customer needs, recommending technical solutions, and managing the full sales cycle for complex equipment projects. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding with proven consultative selling skills and the ability to build long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and industry expert.
- Understand customer requirements, map purchasing cycles, and guide clients through the evaluation and selection of process equipment solutions.
- Oversee and manage the sales pipeline within the CRM system, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely updates, and visibility into project status and open orders.
- Develop and present customized proposals, quotations, and technical presentations aligned with client needs.
- Lead contract negotiations while safeguarding the company’s commercial and strategic interests.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets, including win rates and revenue goals.
- Stay informed on industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activity through market research, events, and ongoing engagement.
- Work closely with internal teams—including engineering, operations, project management, procurement, and quality—to develop accurate pricing and deliver optimal solutions.
- Support project execution by coordinating with project managers to address scope changes and customer requests promptly.
- Collaborate with service and consumables teams to identify opportunities for aftermarket sales, including spare parts, service agreements, and upgrades.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline performance, sales forecasts, market trends, and competitive insights.
- Take on additional responsibilities as required to support overall business goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, ideally within industrial manufacturing or process equipment sectors.
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and recommend actionable improvements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Customer-centric approach with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Education
