Electrical Shop Laborer

We are seeking a motivated Industrial Electrical Laborer to assist with the repair and rebuilding of industrial and mining machinery. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, interested in electrical systems, and eager to learn. Previous industrial, mining, mechanical, or electrical experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate who is dependable, willing to work, and interested in developing new skills.

Responsibilities:

• Dismantle mining machinery, electrical components, and associated wiring
• Disassemble, clean, sandblast, repair, and prepare electrical components for reuse
• Assist with the installation and reinstallation of electrical components
• Pull and route large cables through industrial and mining machinery
• Operate forklifts to move parts, materials, and equipment throughout the facility
• Use hand and power tools to complete assigned work
• Assist with equipment teardown, repair, and rebuilding
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow instructions and established safety procedures
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

• Mechanically inclined with an interest in industrial or mining equipment
• Interest in learning electrical components, wiring, and machinery systems
• Comfortable working in a dirty, physically demanding industrial environment
• Willing and able to learn new skills through on-the-job training
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to lift, move, and handle equipment and materials as required
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Industrial, mining, electrical, mechanical, equipment repair, or maintenance experience is a plus
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow directions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
• Valid DL
• Pass all pre-employment screenings

Schedule-6am-2pm

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
