A growing early childhood education center in Bradenton, Florida is seeking an experienced Preschool Center Director to lead the turnaround and growth of a recently acquired school.
We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in growth environments, can build strong teams, increase enrollment, and create an exceptional program for children and families.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily center operations
- Hire, train, coach, and retain teachers
- Ensure licensing compliance and program quality
- Support enrollment growth and family engagement
- Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, and budgets
- Lead accreditation efforts (VPK, Gold Seal, Apple, etc.)
- Create a positive culture for staff and families
Requirements
- Florida Director Credential (Required)
- CDA and 40-Hour DCF Training (Required)
- VPK Endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed Childcare, Preschool, or Early Childhood Center Director
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with enrollment, budgeting, and staff management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading a school turnaround or major growth initiative
- Strong marketing and enrollment mindset
- Financial and operational management experience
Compensation
- Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
- Performance Bonus: Up to 20-30% of base salary based on enrollment growth, retention, operational performance, and accreditation achievements
