Our client is looking for a caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Twos Lead Teacher to join their premier preschool in Manassas, VA. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 2- to 3-years-old; as well as be comfortable with toilet training.

• These are Direct Hire positions with the school
• Shift for this position is 9am-6pm; Monday-Friday, year-round employment
  
  

Salary

$20.40 - $25.20/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18-years-old
• REQUIRED Education: CDA, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or an education related field
• REQUIRED Experience: At least one year of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
