Support Staff / Floaters

Our client is looking for fun and energetic full-time Support Staff/Floaters to join their premier preschool in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 6-weeks to 5-years-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering and toilet training.

• These are Direct Hire positions with the school

• The shift for this position is 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday-Friday; year-round employment

Salary
$13.80-$17.05/hour pending education, credentials, and professional experience

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children

• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities

• Maintain a clean and organized classroom

• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care

• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18-years-old

• REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma or GED

• REQUIRED Experience: At least one year of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib

• Must meet background check eligibility
