Our client is looking for caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Early Childhood Teachers to join their premier preschool in Gallup, NM. The ideal candidate would be willing to work with children 6-months to 5-years-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering and toilet training.

• This is a Direct Hire position with the school
• Full-Time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment

Open Positions

• Lead Preschool/Pre-K Teachers: working with children between 3 to 5 years old
• Classroom Aide/Substitute Teachers: must be willing to work with all age groups from 6 months to 5 years olds
• Shift: 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday

Salary

• Lead Teachers: $17.17 - $25.82 /hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
• Classroom Aide/Substitute Teachers: $14.30 - $17.17 /hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications - Lead Teachers

• REQUIRED Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
• REQUIRED Experience: 1 year in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility

Qualifications - Classroom Aide/Substitute Teachers

• REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma
• REQUIRED Experience: 6 months of experience working with children in any capacity (babysitting and nannying welcomed!)

Qualifications - All Positions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Must meet background check eligibility
• Must be at least 18-years-old
