What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pricing/Billing Specialist - 1st Shift position at Hire Talent Group?
**POSITION SUMMARY:
**
Under the direction of the department Supervisor/Manager, the Pricing/Billing Specialist is responsible for pricing incoming jobs and creating invoices for completed jobs, as well as perform general duties within the department.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
**
- Creating invoices for completed jobs.
- Checking purchase order prices and processes.
- Adding expedite charges, freight charges (if applicable) for incoming jobs.
- Assisting customer with pricing requests and invoice questions.
- Review outside processing companies and enter the prices into our system.
- Process Credit Card Applications and contact references.
- Generate and distribute the daily sales reports each evening, as well as the monthly reports for month end.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by assisting sales force via telephone, email, fax, or in person.
- Handle busy incoming orders and email orders/inquiries in a professional manner.
- Create quotations based upon sales reps input.
- Submit and update contract pricing, obtain approvals as needed.
- Assist accounts receivable with problem invoices, research and gather supporting documentation and submit corrections as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.
**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
**
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, both written and verbally.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to generate run reports.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Knowledge of all aspects of quality paperwork documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast paced environment.
