Threading Machine Operator
Location: Richmond Heights, OH
Pay: $17.50/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Hire Sync is seeking a Threading Machine Operator for a well-established manufacturing company in Richmond Heights. This is a hands-on production opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in quality, efficiency, and teamwork.
The Threading Machine Operator will set up and operate specialized threading equipment while supporting daily production goals, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe and efficient department operations.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate S-Head threading machines according to production procedures
- Perform machine adjustments including chaser changes and touchscreen operation
- Operate multiple machines to meet productivity expectations
- Load and unload stainless steel parts while maintaining material traceability
- Inspect parts and record quality data according to specifications
- Conduct continuous visual inspections for thread quality and defects
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor operator-level repairs
- Utilize scanning/data collection systems to start and end production jobs
- Follow all safety, production, and quality procedures
- Maintain housekeeping and organization within the department
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machine setup/operation
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Ability to read scales/rulers to 1/32" and use inspection tools/gauges
- Strong attendance, punctuality, and work ethic
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to work independently
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and bend throughout the shift
- Frequently lift 50–70 lbs.
- Push/pull carts and materials up to 200 lbs.
- Fine hand manipulation for machine setup and adjustments
