Additive Manufacturing Technician
Location: Streetsboro, OH
Pay: $17.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Hire Sync is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Technician for an innovative advanced manufacturing company specializing in cutting-edge additive and 3D manufacturing solutions. The Additive Manufacturing Technician is responsible for preparing part files and production builds accurately and efficiently for use in the additive manufacturing process. This role requires strong attention to detail, time management, troubleshooting ability, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineering, and operations teams.
What You’ll Do
- Perform production setups for additive manufactured parts
- Read and interpret instructions, drawings, travelers, and customer specifications
- Utilize reference planes and 3D visualization for proper part orientation
- Manage setup schedules and provide updates to scheduling/operations teams
- Recommend best manufacturing practices based on process and material requirements
- Support manufacturing operations as needed across production
- Troubleshoot setup and manufacturing issues while identifying process improvements
- Report and help prevent errors, defects, and quality concerns
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment
What We’re Looking For
- Prior additive manufacturing or manufacturing experience preferred, but training will be provided
- Participation in STEM or related technical program preferred
- Associate’s degree in STEM field preferred
- Experience with 3D Systems, Stratasys, Carbon, or similar additive manufacturing software preferred
- Knowledge of resin and material properties is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, push/pull, lift, and perform repetitive keyboarding tasks
