What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Engagement Manager position at HIRE Strategies?
Location: Onsite - Raleigh, NC
Type: Full-Time
Core Objectives:
- Manage and develop the talent pool; acting as a resource for deployed associates and associates between assignments.
- Advocate for and advise associates by gathering and providing meaningful feedback, facilitating redeploy when possible, and proactively seeking challenging assignments which align with employee goals.
- Control churn by implementing strategies to keep employees satisfied, motivated, and engaged.
- Build long-term meaningful relationships with employees, fostering a sense of trust and partnership during and beyond an employee’s assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary employee relationship manager for all associates after they have been onboarded; proactively identifying and resolving challenges and owning issues through to resolution, driving employee stickiness with the brand.
- Collect, monitor, and appropriately cycle employee, demonstrating a sense of urgency and responsiveness. Monitor trends through feedback and observation, creating an effective communication loop to ensure continuous improvement and satisfaction.
- Ensure employees are prepared for and set up for success for all assignments (new hire orientations, performance coaching, etc.)
- Coach and support professional development by utilizing client-provided performance data. Deliver corrective actions as needed. Recommend training to enhance skills and knowledge, address performance issues promptly and take necessary actions, including reassignment or termination when appropriate.
- Conduct orientation with newly promoted Team Leads and Supervisors
- Coordinate initiatives such as appreciation/recognition events which foster relationship building, employee engagement, and loyalty.
- Recognize and reward associates for positive behaviors (consistent attendance, client feedback, milestones on assignment)
Skills Required:
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent touchpoints simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at effectively engaging with diverse audiences and providing constructive feedback. Ability to assess feedback and document appropriately in real time.
- De-escalation and conflict management skills.
- Ability to build rapport and strong relationships and establish positive and meaningful connections with both clients and employees.
- Intermediate skills in all Microsoft Office Software – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
