A global manufacturing and technology company is seeking a Senior Finance Manager – Commercial to serve as a strategic finance partner supporting a fast‑moving, innovation‑driven business unit. This role blends commercial finance, forecasting, pricing strategy, business partnering, and executive‑level financial insights. The position is based in Indianapolis, IN and operates in a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to senior commercial leadership, shaping strategy through data‑driven insights
- Lead commercial forecasting, pricing strategy, and monthly performance reporting
- Provide variance analysis, trend insights, and actionable recommendations to executive leadership
- Partner with sales, product, and commercial teams to establish forecasting rhythms and financial governance
- Build business cases to support investment decisions, commercial initiatives, and strategic planning
- Support multi‑year planning, commercial strategy development, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Present financial insights to senior leaders within a multinational environment
- Manage one direct report and contribute to long‑term succession planning within the finance organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 7 years of progressive finance experience
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering background
- Experience in large, multinational companies
- FP&A experience required or strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, S4, OneStream, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience in manufacturing, technology, or tech‑enabled products
- Exposure to BI tools and data visualization platforms
- Pricing strategy or M&A support experience
Compensation: Base salary range: $160,000 – $175,000, plus 15% annual bonus.
