Salary Range: $200-220K
Responsibilities
- Handle complex business litigation matters from pre-suit evaluation through final resolution
- Manage contested matters and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy
- Draft pleadings and substantive motions, including complaints, answers, demurrers, motions for summary judgment, motions in limine, and trial briefs
- Oversee discovery, including document production, drafting discovery requests, and conducting depositions and witness examinations
- Work on a variety of insolvency-related litigation matters, including fraudulent transfer claims, contested plan confirmation hearings, trustee motions, and preliminary injunction proceedings
- Active CA bar membership required
- At least 5–6 years of business litigation experience required
- Bankruptcy litigation or insolvency-related litigation experience is a plus
