Role Overview

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while guiding guests through the home furnishings selection process. This role focuses on building customer relationships, achieving sales goals, processing transactions accurately, and supporting daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging guests professionally and helping them identify products and styles suited to their needs.
• Maintain a welcoming and professional presence while representing the store through positive customer interactions.
• Accurately process sales orders and transactions while following cash-handling procedures and maintaining complete documentation.
• Assist customers with credit applications and financing-related matters as required.
• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible and support positive customer outcomes.
• Assist with store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including participation in periodic inventory counts.
• Meet or exceed sales goals, KPIs, and established performance standards while completing additional assigned responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and guests.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey information in a motivating and action-oriented manner.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
