Role Overview

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while guiding guests through the home furnishings selection process. This role focuses on building customer relationships, achieving sales goals, processing transactions accurately, and supporting daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging guests professionally and helping them identify products and styles suited to their needs.
• Maintain a welcoming and professional presence while representing the store through positive customer interactions.
• Accurately process sales orders and transactions while following cash-handling procedures and maintaining complete documentation.
• Assist customers with credit applications and financing-related matters as required.
• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible and support positive customer outcomes.
• Assist with store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including participation in periodic inventory counts.
• Meet or exceed sales goals, KPIs, and established performance standards while completing additional assigned responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.
• Ability to communicate information in a motivating and persuasive manner.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable attendance and strong dependability.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
