Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Commercial Masonry Project Estimator / Manager to work on a contract basis. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates and managing commercial masonry projects from bid to completion. Candidates must have experience in masonry construction and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial masonry projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy in estimates and feasibility.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and clients to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor project progress, track costs, and adjust estimates as needed to meet budget and timeline goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout project execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial masonry construction or project estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as ProEst, PlanSwift, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of masonry materials, labor costs, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
