Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Lead Carpenter to work on a full-time basis. This role involves overseeing carpentry projects, managing teams, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship on-site. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, inspecting work quality, and adhering to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and direct carpentry crews in executing residential or commercial construction projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide installation and modifications.
• Train and mentor apprentice carpenters, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to maintain project schedules and budget constraints.
• Perform hands-on carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and cabinetry installation as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or equivalent role with at least 5 years in carpentry.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction plans with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA compliance standards.
• Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and carpentry machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and training construction teams.
