Night Auditor (Part-Time)

Position Summary

We're looking for a dependable and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. This position combines front desk guest service with overnight accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys providing exceptional hospitality while ensuring the accuracy of the hotel's daily financial records.

Responsibilities

• Complete the nightly audit process by reviewing and reconciling guest accounts, charges, and payments.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurate and balanced before the start of the next business day.
• Welcome guests with friendly, professional service during check-in and check-out.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns, resolving issues with professionalism and care.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
• Monitor hotel security and follow overnight safety procedures.
• Communicate important information to the morning team to ensure a smooth shift transition.
• Work closely with other departments to support efficient hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.
• Night Audit experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn hotel management software.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
