Deli Clerk

The Fountains Resort, located in Orlando, FL is currently seeking team members who are passionate about building lasting vacation memories for owners/guests visiting our resort properties! You are someone who is service orientated, courteous, good with numeracy with a strong foods safety knowledge.

What will I be doing?

As a Deli Clerk for Market Place, you are responsible for greeting/acknowledging owners/guests in a friendly, professional manner while providing quick, responsive customer service.

• Prepares and serves deli food and beverage items and promotes sales of retail merchandise. Maintaining high standards of hygiene, greeting customers and keeping them happy, and taking orders.
• Ensures the quality of food and service is at an exceptional level displaying warmth and friendliness to guests and owners.
• Responding to all guest requests to ensure client satisfaction; willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and being an outstanding teammate.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

• High School/GED
• 6 Months Customer Service in a food & beverage role
• Ability to work any day of the week and any shift to include weekends and holidays.
• Must possess/have the ability to obtain a current Food Handlers Certification

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Deli clerk
• Cash handling/food handling experience
• Alcohol awareness certification
• Food safety certification
• Resort/hotel hospitality industry.
• 3 years or more experience in Food & Beverage
