Coordinator Escrow

The Escrow Coordinator is a member of a team of associates that is responsible for the cash management, receipt, and disbursement of escrow funds of the business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and consumer-to-consumer customers of Resort Title Agency, Inc and of the Bluegreen product. The Escrow Coordinator will be assigned to one of several general areas of the department but will be accountable for multiple functions related to the timeshare escrow, acquisition and special escrow as well as lender receivable escrow. All accountabilities require active communication with customers (business or consumer, internal or external) to manage the financial accounts associated with each customer’s funds, ensuring funds are received and disbursed accurately, timely, and in the most efficient business manner.

As the Escrow Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Processing, closing, and administration as it relates to various escrow accounts, including accurate and efficient data entry of daily bank deposits into the source system utilizing information from multiple reporting sources and business units within established deadlines.
• Maintains escrow accounts in a fiduciary capacity to ensure funds are received and/or disbursed according to governing escrow rules, regulations and/or instructions.
• Creates, manages and maintains reports, transmittals and/or other documentation to support escrow transactions.
• Communicates directly with field sales relating to any discrepancies in support documentation.
• Conducts general escrow administration required to perform overall responsibilities such as bank deposits, deposit disbursement, issuance of checks and wires.
• Utilizes internal and external systems to perform job functions.
• Performs duties utilizing generally accepted practices related to escrow fiduciary responsibilities to ensure segregation of duties to prevent fraud and manage customer personal and private information. Manages and performs customer refunds, assists with credit card disputes or banking discrepancies.
• Assists with the business-to-business relationships established by the organization and may be required to communicate with consumers on a regular basis to provide certain services.
• Communicates and acts as the escrow liaison with escrow business partners. This accountability requires developing and maintaining effective working relationships with business vendors to ensure timely and efficient processing.
• Assists in the onboarding of new clients or business opportunities.
• Performs substantial data entry using multiple systems.
• Actively participates in the identification and resolution of issues related to the business.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1-3 years of related titling/escrow experience
• Advanced computer skills with accuracy and speed. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with title closing software

• Reliable, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong organizational skills

  It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Associate's degree/College Diploma
• 3 years of related titling/escrow experience
• Timeshare/Vacation Ownership experience
• Experience with Title Express
• Title Agent License
