Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and other supplies; assist in ordering stock as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to guests.

Skills

• Proficient in bartending techniques with a strong understanding of mixology.
• Excellent math skills for managing cash register transactions and retail math calculations.
• Strong time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Experience in food handling and food service within a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly while providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
