The Garden Grille & Bar at the Hilton Garden Inn Findlay is looking for a dependable, motivated Line Cook to join our team! If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in preparing quality meals, and work well with others, we'd love to meet you.
This position offers the opportunity to expand your skills by assisting with hotel events and catering. We encourage cross-training and growth within our team!
Schedule
- Monday – Saturday
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Additional hours available based on performance, initiative, and business needs

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of kitchen or line cook experience
- Cook-to-order experience is required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes, standards, and hotel policies
- Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to take direction and work independently when needed
- Must be able to multitask while maintaining food quality and safety
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook food to order in a timely manner
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
- Prepare ingredients and maintain proper food rotation
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager and fellow team members
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hotel policies
- Assist with banquet and catering functions as needed
Requirements
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
