Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks with precision and flair, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, efficient service throughout their visit.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions quickly and accurately, handling cash and card payments with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations, counters, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while balancing multiple tasks seamlessly.
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support overall café operations.
• Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred; enthusiasm for learning about coffee is essential.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and serving standards in a café or retail setting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
