Warehouse Associate | Day Shift
Hillyard, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our Operations team in Columbia, MO.
Are you comfortable in a warehouse where you're on your feet, moving throughout the day, picking orders, building pallets, and operating material-handling equipment?
Do you take pride in building an accurate order and making sure it's ready to ship on time?

We're looking for a dependable team member who understands what it takes to keep a warehouse moving. If you have experience with picking and packing orders, building pallets, shipping and receiving, inventory, or forklift operation, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Build, wrap, and stage pallets for shipment.
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming inventory.
- Prepare LTL and small parcel shipments for delivery.
- Safely operate forklifts and other battery-powered material-handling equipment.
- Move product throughout the warehouse and stage orders in designated shipping areas.
- Verify products and quantities to help ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work alongside your teammates to meet daily picking and shipping goals.
- Use basic computer systems and email as part of daily warehouse operations.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who already understands the basics of working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping and receiving, or order fulfillment experience.
- Experience picking and packing customer orders.
- Experience building, wrapping, and staging pallets.
- Forklift or other material-handling equipment experience preferred.
- Comfortable performing physical warehouse work throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment that is not always climate-controlled and may be warmer or cooler depending on the season.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.
- Basic computer skills, including email.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
