Hillyard, Inc. is currently seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our Technical Service team in St. Joseph, MO.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial floor cleaning and maintenance equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers, distributors, field technicians, and internal teams.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting involving mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts documentation to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Analyze equipment performance and identify trends to recommend corrective actions and product improvements.
- Manage warranty claims and maintain accurate warranty documentation.
- Assist in developing and delivering technical training for technicians, sales teams, distributors, and customers.
- Support product launches, sales meetings, trade shows, and customer training events as needed.
- Partner with engineering, service, and product teams to continuously improve equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Two or more years of experience repairing, servicing, or troubleshooting commercial, industrial, or mechanical equipment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts manuals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database applications.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as business needs require.
