Qualifications
- Valid nursing license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proficiency in catheterization, IV insertion, and medication administration
- Experience with EHR systems, particularly Epic and Cerner
- Strong patient care and assessment skills, including tube feeding and airway management
- Knowledge of physiology and critical care, with experience in long-term care settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage nursing staff during the 2nd shift to ensure effective care delivery.
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, facility policies, and best practices.
- Provide mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and staff activities.
