Hillside is hiring a Dietary Cook to manage kitchen production, and qualified candidates can attend walk-in interviews Monday through Friday from 11am to 3pm. This operations-driven role provides a highly reliable 4 days on, 2 days off master schedule. Our kitchen layout optimizes food prep and delivery for our 128-bed facility. Consistent shifts allow you to plan your life with confidence while managing daily culinary operations efficiently.

Located at 300 S Highway 36 Byp N, our facility relies on structured logistics and dependable execution. The dining program is a core operational pillar, serving a focused resident community where scheduling stability and kitchen efficiency are prioritized.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $17/hour (higher with culinary experience).
- Schedule: 1pm-7:30pm shift. 4 days on, 2 days off schedule.

Qualifications
- 1 year of cooking experience in a dietary/culinary setting is preferred.
- Food Handler Certification is required (can be provided by facility).
- Must pass a criminal background check (legal requirement for SNFs).
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
- Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to facility menus and required nutritional guidelines.
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations.
- Oversee kitchen sanitation and daily workstation cleanliness.
- Coordinate with dietary staff to ensure timely meal distribution.
