We are seeking an energetic and inspiring Band / Music Director - grades 6 -12 to lead our school’s music program. In this vital role, you will cultivate a love for music among students, develop their musical talents, and foster a collaborative and dynamic musical community. Your leadership will energize our music department and enrich the cultural fabric of our school.
- Develop and implement engaging music curricula that cater to students of all ages and skill levels
- Lead rehearsals for school choirs, bands, orchestras, and other musical ensembles with enthusiasm and clarity
- Organize performances, concerts, and community events to showcase student talent and foster school spirit
- Mentor students in their musical development, providing constructive feedback and encouragement
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate music into broader educational initiatives
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and confidence among students
- Maintain all necessary equipment, supplies, and resources for the music program
- Proven experience in teaching music at the school level or equivalent leadership roles in musical ensembles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students and staff alike
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey musical concepts and foster collaboration
- Demonstrated mentoring ability to support students’ artistic growth and personal development
