Hillsboro School District is seeking a dynamic and dedicated leader to join Hillsboro High School as an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. This 1.0 FTE administrative role is essential for fostering student potential and maintaining excellence in our school programs.
Role Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive leadership and administration for building operations, specifically overseeing all aspects of school athletics, activities, and programs.
- Utilize independent judgment and decision-making to manage matters outside established regulations while ensuring adherence to District athletic policies.
- Act as a primary liaison between the administration, coaching staff, student body, families, and the community regarding athletic expectations.
- Promote the holistic development of every student through strategic supervisory and administrative leadership.
Essential Requirements:
- A valid State of Oregon Administrative License appropriate for high school administration.
- A Master’s Degree, preferably with an emphasis in the field of Education.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching or a deep knowledge of sports, activities, and student supervision techniques.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build positive relationships within a diverse community.
