HSD Lead District Nurse Manager
Hillsboro School District is seeking a dedicated Lead District Nurse Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight for our nursing team. This role is essential in bridging healthcare and education to ensure the safety, health, and equitable care of students across the district.
- Leadership and Supervision: Manage and evaluate the District Nursing team, including permanent, temporary, and substitute staff, while facilitating departmental meetings.
- Program Oversight: Oversee all district nursing services, ensuring strict compliance with county, state, and federal health regulations and student health requirements.
- System Design: Collaborate with district leadership and community partners to design and implement quality assurance programs and emergency operations plans.
- Care Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the District, Washington County Health Division, and state agencies like ODE and OHA to coordinate comprehensive student health services.
- Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school, or a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Licensure: A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon and a valid Oregon driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Experience: Proven ability to coordinate nursing tasks, assess complex student health needs, and maintain the integrity of confidential information.
- Skills: Proficiency in computer-based applications and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents from diverse backgrounds.

- Salary Range: $113,226 - $130,245 per year
