Hillcrest Rehab Services is looking for an Occupational Therapist/Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the Innovate at Home team. This will be a part time/PRN position.

An OT/COTA enhances the lives of individuals by providing occupational therapy with a continuum of integrated services in accordance with federal, state and facility guidelines.

What does a day in the life look like?

• Completes evaluations for referred individuals, utilizes appropriate tests and measures establishing a timely plan of care in compliance with departmental standards and federal and state regulations.
• Completes patient treatments efficiently in accordance with plan of care progressing patient as appropriate to achieve established goals.
• Accurate charging of services and provides documentation to support the charges and provision of the therapy services within facility guidelines.
• Manages each patient’s plan of care effectively by timely interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with physician involvement as needed.
• Supervises, collaborates, and delegates appropriate care to techs, and other support personnel per federal and state regulations.
  
  

What should I have to be considered?

• At least two years’ experience performing Occupational Therapy or as a CTOA in a long term care, post-acute, hospital, home care or similar setting preferred.
• Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification by the AHA required.
