No Two Days Are The Same And That’s Part Of The Fun. You’ll Support Residents By Helping Plan And Lead Engaging Recreational Experiences
- Develop, implement, and lead group and individual recreation programs
- Encourage residents to maintain and express their abilities through meaningful activities
- Complete initial assessments, MDS documentation, IDT summaries, and care plans as needed
- Provide one-on-one programming and sensory enrichment based on resident needs
- Coordinate with and support volunteers through guidance, scheduling, and relationship building
- Set up, organize, and clean up materials for daily programs and independent activities
- Assist residents to and from activities using safe transport procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of experience in recreational programming with older adults or a similar setting preferred
- A positive, patient, and creative approach to engagement
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
