What You’ll Do
Think part event planner, part community builder, part joy-instigator.
- Lead daily activities, events, and group programming that residents genuinely look forward to
- Help plan and execute a monthly lifestyle calendar full of variety and engagement
- Welcome new residents with orientations and interest inventories to help them feel at home from day one
- Build meaningful relationships and rapport with residents
- Keep lifestyle spaces and supplies organized, clean, and ready for action
- Support wellness and exercise programs as needed
- Collaborate with the team to identify additional services or support opportunities for residents
- Communicate any changes in resident condition to the care team for follow-up
- 1 year of experience in hospitality, activities, or a related field
- Experience working with the aging population (preferred)
- A natural ability to connect with people and create a welcoming environment
- Creativity—you can turn a simple idea into a memorable experience
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to stay calm, flexible, and positive in all situations
