We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our growing team as a Stone Care Technician. Prior experience is helpful but not required — we provide structured training and hands-on skill development.
Position Overview
As a Stone Care Technician, you will maintain and restore stone surfaces in residential and commercial settings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and values professionalism and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Stone Restoration & Technical Work
· Identify stone types and assess surfaces for damage or wear
· Perform grinding, honing, polishing, sealing, and minor repairs
· Work on materials including marble, granite, quartzite, limestone, travertine, slate, tile and quartz
· Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job scopes
Equipment & Chemical Handling
· Operate and maintain floor machines, grinders, polishers, and vacuums
· Safely handle and store chemicals in compliance with OSHA and company guidelines
· Inspect equipment and report issues promptly
Job Site Setup & Protection
· Protect customer property using plastic, tarps, tape, and barriers
· Maintain a clean, organized job site
· Properly dispose of waste materials
Customer Interaction
· Arrive on time, in uniform, and present yourself professionally
· Communicate clearly and courteously with clients
· Respect client property and confidentiality at all times
Company Standards & Expectations
· Maintain high-quality workmanship with zero preventable callbacks
· Follow all safety requirements and wear required PPE
· Be punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
· Participate in required training and skill development
· Maintain a professional appearance and attitude on all job sites
Performance Benchmarks
· Consistent quality workmanship
· Improvement in advanced skills such as chip repair and resurfacing
· Completion of jobs within scheduled timeframes
· Strong safety record and positive customer feedback
Compensation & Benefits
· $20.00/hour starting pay
· $22.50/hour after 90 days if performance benchmarks are met
· Worker’s Compensation coverage
· Annual pay review

Requirements
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Ability to lift equipment and work on your feet for extended periods
· Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
