Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team in an on-site role at our Bastrop, TX location. The Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for patients with a variety of urgent care needs. Responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing appropriate treatments, and educating patients about health management and preventative care. The position requires a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas and relevant certifications
- Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and formulating treatment plans
- Knowledge and experience with ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Proficiency in prescribing medications and understanding treatment modalities
- Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented urgent care setting
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a similar clinical setting is preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, with strong clinical decision-making abilities
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus
Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
