Carpenter

Hill Construction LLC is a full-service residential general contractor in Hayward and the surrounding areas. We maintain a consistent work schedule from Monday to Friday (no weekends) and offer competitive pay. We are looking to expand our skilled framing carpentry crews with workers who have at least 2 years of experience in new-build residential construction. Hill Construction supplies all the necessary tools, newer work trucks, and trailers equipped with all the needed gear.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee construction projects from start to finish
• Read blueprints and drawings to understand project specifications
• Measure and cut materials to ensure a precise fit
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving
• Ability to work outdoors, performing physical labor duties

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in residential construction with hands-on framing carpentry, preferably with new home construction
• Ability to work with crews of 3
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical
• Great attendance & highly motivated
