What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic position at Hilco Liquid Transport LLC?
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (later hours when needed)
On-call rotation approximately every three (3) weeks to support after hours repair needs.
Pay Range: $28.00-$36.00 depending on experience

Overview: As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our vehicles and equipment. Your responsibilities will include conducting repairs, preventive maintenance, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to diagnose and resolve issues promptly. Collaboration with the Shop Manager and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this role.
- Conduct timely repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment, following specifications and utilizing OEM software, tools, and technologies.
- Install, replace, re-build, or repair parts and equipment to meet industry standards and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the Shop Manager to schedule repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Authorize or assist in scheduling dealer, shop, and field repairs while applying warranties appropriately.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using various tools required for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Utilize computer skills for diagnostic purposes and complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, complying with corporate and OSHA standards.
- Interpret failure modes through vehicle computer electronics systems to initiate or assign necessary repairs.
- Engage in physical activities such as walking, lifting, twisting, turning, and climbing a ladder.
- Possess a valid driver's license; CDL-A or B is a plus.
- Have 1 years of experience in truck and/or trailer mechanics.
- Possess 1 years of experience in Aluminum & Steel welding.
