What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Manufacturing Line Lead (Spanish/English) position at HIKINEX?
The Manufacturing Line Lead is responsible for coordinating daily production line activities, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency standards are met. This role serves as the primary point of leadership on the production line, directing team members, monitoring workflow, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $20/hr
- Weekend Shift: Saturday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | $20/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate production line employees to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Ensure all production activities meet safety, quality, and operational standards
- Monitor line performance, output, scrap, and downtime; escalate issues as needed
- Assist with line setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting equipment or process issues
- Train and mentor employees on procedures, safety practices, and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and food safety requirements
- Communicate daily production goals and expectations
- Coordinate staffing and workflow to meet production schedules
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives
- Promote teamwork and a positive work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of production workflows and processes
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
