What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder Fabricator First and Second Shift position at Highland Tank?
Highland Tank is looking for both first and second shift welders/fabricators to join our team in Manheim, PA. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts.
Job Duties:
- Requirements include:
- Weld and fabricate as trained
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
- Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes (training provided)
- Comfortable using electric grinding equipment
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. climb ladders, work at heights up to 16 ft., and periodically work in confined spaces
- Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager.
Required Skills:
·Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
·Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
·Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.
·Ability to work overtime as needed.
