Highland Tank operates seven state-of-the-art fabrication facilities. Highland Tank is looking for a Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Mancelona, MI.
Job Duties:
Requirements include:
- Weld and fabricate as trained
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
- Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes (training provided)
- Comfortable using electric grinding equipment
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. climb ladders, work at heights up to 16 ft., and periodically work in confined spaces
- Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager.
Required Skills:
·Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
·Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
·Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.
·Ability to work overtime as needed.
