Cook Properties is New York State’s largest owner and operator of manufactured housing communities. Our portfolio includes 100 mobile home parks totaling 7,000 pads. We also own and manage 200,000 square feet of commercial, retail, and office space, along with 2,000 self-storage units.
Job Overview
The In-Park Home Sales Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the resale of resident-owned homes within our manufactured housing communities. This includes coordinating transactions between sellers and buyers, ensuring all required documentation is completed, and assisting with the transition process. Strong customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential to drive success in this role.
What You'll Get to Do
As an In-Park Home Sales Coordinator, you will:
- Facilitate the sale of resident-owned homes within the community.
- Act as a liaison between buyers and sellers to ensure smooth transactions.
- Process applications for all in-park home prospects.
- Send notifications of approval or denial to applicants.
- Coordinate with both the prospect and seller throughout the sales process.
- Ensure all required documents are received, including lease agreements, insurance, pet documentation, and the bill of sale.
- Verify that all necessary payments (application fee, security deposit, first month’s rent) are collected prior to move-in.
- Oversee the transition of sellers moving out and buyers moving in.
- Maintain detailed records of sales transactions and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable housing regulations and company policies.
- Provide customer support to both buyers and sellers throughout the process.
- Send welcome packets to new residents, ensuring a positive move-in experience.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the organization’s sales initiatives.

Qualifications
What we seek:
- Preferred Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, real estate, business, or a related field.
- Preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, leasing, or real estate, preferably in manufactured housing or property management.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with residents, buyers, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A valid driver’s license.
