Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be adept at managing teams, schedules, and budgets. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project scheduling and tracking.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to guide project execution effectively.
- Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and controlling expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure that work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Implement OSHA safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling and budgeting.
- Familiarity with construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid is preferred.
- Experience using construction management software like Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and contracts effectively.
- Supervising experience in a construction site environment is essential.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
