Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor crews to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to interpret project requirements accurately
- Oversee construction schedule coordination using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to keep projects on track
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to blueprints, schematics, and industry standards
- Monitor construction site safety practices in compliance with OSHA and federal safety regulations; enforce safety protocols diligently
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes
- Review contracts and manage change orders to ensure scope clarity and contractual compliance
- Lead team meetings, assign tasks, and supervise work crews to maintain high productivity levels
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising construction sites with a strong background in heavy civil or infrastructure projects
- Extensive knowledge of construction management practices including scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid or similar project scheduling tools; experience with construction estimating is a plus
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards such as OSHA regulations; ability to enforce safety policies effectively
- Hands-on experience with construction drawing review and site supervision; ability to read schematics accurately
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments
- Experience managing contracts and change orders within federal or large-scale construction projects
- Knowledge of construction site safety equipment testing tools such as ohmmeters; familiarity with using tools like the

- Excellent communication skills for coordinating between teams, clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies
