Associate Director / Director – Accounting & Finance Recruitment (Full Desk)

New York City | Hybrid | High-Performance A&F Platform

$200K – $300K average take-home

We’re partnered with a well-established Accounting & Finance recruitment firm in NYC, known for consistent billings, strong leadership, and a genuinely high-performance culture.

This is not a “build from scratch” environment. You’ll be joining a platform with an established client base, repeat revenue streams, and a proven model that enables experienced recruiters to scale their desk quickly and sustainably.

This is a standout opportunity for a full desk A&F recruiter to work alongside a team of high-performing, specialist recruiters. The desk average is $400K , and the team is led by a top biller producing close to $1M.

The Opportunity

• Full desk (360) role across business development and candidate delivery
• Focus on Accounting & Finance recruitment across all level roles.
• Average fees of ~$35K–$55K
• Opportunity to work on senior mandates (including CFO-level)
• Build and scale your own client base while leveraging existing relationships

Compensation & Structure

• Salary $80,000-200,000
• Uncapped commission structure up to 60%
• $250K billers earning 55%
• Average earnings (OTE $300K )
• Uncapped commission up to 60%
• Average fees: $40K – $55K
• Hybrid working (NYC)

Ideal Candidate

• Proven full desk (360) recruitment experience (REQUIRED)
• Strong billing track record ($400K preferred)
• Background in Accounting & Finance recruitment
• Consistent career history and strong client ownership
• Clear understanding of deal sizes, client base, and placements
• Ability to build and scale a desk within a high-performance environment
• Strong soft skills: humility, ambition, and a long-term mindset
• Portable book of business is desired.
