Budtender/Receptionist

High Society is in search of team members at cannabis dispensary in Saline, MI. We are looking to hire people who value hospitality not just with our guests, but with each other as well. Budtender Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving sales goals by providing best-in-class service that consistently exceeds our customer's and patient's expectations
• Responsible for maintains the store in a clean, organized, safe manner with special attention paid to merchandising standards
• Create loyalty to High Society by inspiring the customers
• Educate the customer on the products offered in our store
• Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required and being able to work with processing
• Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system
• Make product recommendations and suggestions
• Execute selling standards to meet the team and individual sales goals and metrics
• Contribute to a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
• Accountable for accurately utilizing our POS systems
• Acknowledge any inventory issues and properly report them to management
• Knowing your product and how it relates to customer purchasing limits
• Maintain a positive attitude that creates a positive friendly and inviting work environment
• Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained

Budtender Requirements:

• High School Dipolma or GED
• College Degree preferred
• 21 years or older
• Cannabis Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Retail Industry: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Experience:

• 1 or more years of work experience in a related industry or work environment preferred
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail or food/beverage required
• Oral and written communication capabilities
• Exceptional customer service
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws relating to key areas of responsibility
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale (POS) software, and cash management
• Fun attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to learn new skills
• Strong attention to detail and must have a team-player mentality- being able to work with a team
• Ability to creatively cultivate long-term customer relationships- build rapport
• Ability to deal with problems and resolve them in an efficient and professional manner
