Position Summary
High Performance Alloys is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing customers, preparing quotations, and helping customers find the right material solutions for their applications.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and enjoys building long-term business relationships. Experience in metals, manufacturing, industrial sales, or technical sales is preferred but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and customer referrals.
- Prepare and follow up on customer quotations.
- Work closely with customers to understand their material requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities within company systems.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics.
- Attend trade shows, customer visits, and industry events as needed.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to learn technical product information and specifications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally.
Preferred:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Previous sales, customer service, manufacturing, or industrial experience.
- Experience working with metals, alloys, machining, aerospace, defense, or industrial products.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, and bend throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
