What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Apparel Production Coordinator position at High Life LLC?
We are seeking a highly motivated production member bringing full cycle apparel production experience. The Senior Production Coordinator must have the ability and knowledge to aid smooth production processes, ensure products meet company’s quality standards, quality assurance and punctual delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Daily communication with overseas vendors to follow up on production status and resolve production issues.
- Create, update and review WIP from vendors to ensure production moves according to T&A without delay.
- Be able to discover current & potential issues/concerns from daily WIP review and resolve the issues/concerns on timely basis.
- Review submission comments from design & PD and communicate with vendors for correction and execution.
- Follow up pre-production status with vendors to ensure every component is submitted for approval on time.
- Work closely with design, sales, planning, operation to ensure timely delivery & quality production.
- Create, update, maintain excel costing chart with significant information including terms, duty, freight, cost, etc.
- Maintain PO status and shipment status in SAP.
- Handle shipment bookings and documentation with vendors, sales and imports team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in apparel Production
- Must be proficient in excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with strengths in follow up
Annual salary starting at $85,000.
