Join our dynamic team as an HVAC New Construction Specialist, where you will play a vital role in the installation, commissioning, and startup of new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial and residential construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are installed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards, contributing to the comfort and safety of building occupants from day one.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, equipment, and controls in new construction sites following schematics and design specifications.
- Perform system start-up procedures, including electrical diagnostics, refrigerant charging, and calibration of controls.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and ducting installation.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing, electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration).
- Experience with HVAC system installation including ductwork fabrication and mechanical systems repair.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during project handovers or site visits.
