Investment Associate

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly active and well-positioned multifamily investment firm. With well over a billion in AuM, the platform operates with institutional-scale, sophistication, and the agility of an entrepreneurial shop.

The Role:

This position supports an existing portfolio while driving aggressive new acquisitions. You will work directly with leadership to execute complex business plans and long-term wealth creation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform deep-dive due diligence and underwriting for prospective multifamily investments.
• Prepare financial modeling to support and guide both Acquisition and Asset Management decisions.
• Provide comprehensive support for the acquisition, financing, asset management, and disposition processes.
• Analyze and monitor the financial performance of properties, including benchmarking to budget and collaborating with management in executing business plans.
• Conduct property, market, and industry analysis to identify inefficiencies in target geographies.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials (both for internal and external uses) for Investment Offerings and Investor Reporting.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate or Accounting.
• Experience: 3–7 years of experience in a finance, analytical, or investment capacity specifically within multifamily real estate.
• Modeling Skills: proficiency in Excel (including DCF analysis) and real estate modeling.
• Travel: Ability to travel (less than 25% of the time) to visit properties.
