Role Description The Signal Processing Engineer will work on-site in Idaho Falls, ID in a full-time capacity, designing, implementing, and optimizing signal processing algorithms for radar and related systems. Daily responsibilities include applying digital signal processing techniques, analyzing complex datasets, and developing models to improve system performance, reliability, and accuracy. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Signal Processing, including Digital Signal Processing and general Signal Processing techniques.
- Experience in Algorithm Development for real-time or near real-time processing systems.
- Background in Radar systems, including signal modeling, detection, tracking, or related applications.
- Solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles, particularly as they apply to signal acquisition, filtering, and system integration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in relevant programming and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, C/C , or similar environments for algorithm prototyping and analysis).
- Experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and performance evaluation of signal processing algorithms.
- Ability to work on-site in Idaho Falls, ID, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate complex concepts clearly in written and verbal form.
- Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop testing, embedded systems, or real-time processing platforms is a plus.
- Prior experience in defense, aerospace, telecommunications, or similar industries involving radar or advanced sensing technology is beneficial.
