Role Description The Full Stack Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, the engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications across both front-end and back-end layers, ensuring performant, secure, and scalable solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, building and integrating APIs, managing databases and server-side logic, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables. The engineer will review and optimize existing code, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development tools, processes, and documentation. The role also involves staying current with modern web technologies and best practices to help drive technical innovation.
Qualifications
- Strong front-end development skills, including experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Proficiency in back-end web development, including server-side programming, APIs, and database integration.
- Hands-on experience with software development and full-stack development, working across the entire application lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of web application architecture, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to work on-site in Huntsville, AL, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
